Define the specification
Ask for variety, origin, harvest year, broken-grain ratio, moisture, net bag weight and packaging. A product name alone does not establish equivalence between two offers.
Review the sample

Calculate delivered cost
Clarify freight, insurance, handling, storage and domestic delivery, together with the quotation's validity period. Check current requirements with the relevant authorities before proceeding.
